The Queen's Jubilee - Thank you

The parish council would like to thank all those who joined in the recent celebrations. Over 50 villagers attended the lighting of the beacon which was made by local resident Steve Wraight.
The fete was organised by volunteers from the church, village hall trustees and local WI which was well supported and appreciated.
The village sign was decked out in red white and blue by volunteers from the WI.
Thank you to everyone for the house decorations, the judge enjoyed attending the villages.
The overall winner was Emily Wraight who was presented with her prize by Cllr Teresa Bowles at the Jubilee Fete. Best decorated flag made by the children at Graveney School was Bella with her picture of the Queen and runner up a Union Jack drawn by Jessie,
