The Council

The Council meets at the Village Hall, Sandbanks Lane on the second Monday in the month (except February and August) at 7.30pm.

The parish council is an elected body in the first tier of local government. It has legal powers, but very few duties. It can play a vital part in representing the community it serves and improving the quality of life and local environment.

The role of a parish councillor is varied and can sometimes be challenging, but can also make a real difference to the community.
